BIOANALYSIS PhD Course - Forefront Technologies and Applications

This PhD course focuses on the latest research related to new technologies and applications within bioanalytical chemistry. Particular attention will be directed towards chromatography, electrophoresis, mass spectrometry, and sample preparation of biological fluids. Applications include small-molecule drugs, peptides, and proteins in biological fluids. 

NAPI members Trine Halvorsen, Leon Ruebsaet and Steven Ray-Wilson, all based at the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences at the University of Oslo, will form part of the teaching team.

Learning outcomes

The course will give students in-depth knowledge on:

  • Trends in forefront research in bioanalytical chemistry
  • The potential of new technologies/applications in bioanalytical chemistry
  • How to present bioanalytical research in scientific papers and oral presentations
